About us:
The KFSAA
is granted a National Archery Association of the United States (NAA) charter
for the purpose of fostering and promoting the mission of the NAA (the national
governing body for the sport of archery). The KFSAA is devoted to the development of archery, in all disciplines,
as a means of healthful recreation and physical fitness and to the maintenance
of high standards of fair play and good sportsmanship. The KFSAA's purpose is to encourage, sanction
and
conduct archery tournaments, competitions, clinics, and
related activities through member clubs, open to all athletes and others without
regard to race creed, color or national origin and under the best conditions
possible so as to effectively promote the sport of archery with the general
public. It is understood that the KFSAA will abide by the Constitution and Rules of the National Archery
Association and the International Archery Association (FITA) as pertains to
competitions under National Archery Association and FITA jurisdiction and
by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Code as pertains to competitions
under IOC jurisdiction.
